The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is breaking down traditional disciplinary barriers, offering transformative solutions to several human-centric fields like urban systems, built environments, and human health. From semantic segmentation of street-view imagery to quantify public space quality, to pixel-level analysis of medical scans for early disease detection, AI bridges technological innovation and societal needs. This session focuses on how AI-driven technologies— including multi-source data fusion, computer vision, generative models, and edge computing—can synergize with urban planning, architectural design, environmental science, and healthcare to co-create a future that is more adaptive, resilient, equitable, and sustainable.
